I'm guessing I'm not the only one who can no longer use their 1st-gen iPhone after trying to update to the new 2.0 firmware. Reports are saying it's due to a "global failure" on one of the iTunes servers that is keeping the activation process from completing itself. This has also been happening in stores to people trying to buy the new version, as well.
Things are apparently so bad that the AppleCare support line has essentially been shut down as well. If anyone out there has had the same problems with getting the 2.0 firmware up and running, or if you have any updates, please feel free to comment...Well done, Apple!
